Your practice, marketed your way

Your dream practice isn't unrealistic. It just needs a plan built for you.

Picture it: a full schedule of private-pay clients you're genuinely good for, a fee that respects your training, and a week with room for your life in it. Work you feel connected to — something of real value that you built.

Nobody taught us this. Grad school covered theory and ethics, never how to market yourself or where to begin. So we start with who you are and the practice you want, gently, before a single strategy gets mentioned — then you follow the one road that fits you.

What we're building toward

Nearly every therapist I meet wants a mix of the same four things.

A practice that feels aligned — flexible enough for who you are, and built around the professional goals that actually matter to you.

01

A full, private-pay caseload

Clients who are the right fit, at a fee that reflects your training — without ever billing an insurance panel.

02

Freedom over your week

A schedule you designed. Room for the school pickup, the long lunch, the writing morning.

03

Income that isn't only sessions

Groups, a workshop, a course, a collective — something that keeps working when you close the laptop.

04

Work that still feels like yours

Built around your temperament, not someone else's playbook. You never have to become an influencer.

"The destination is nearly universal. The route is not. That's the whole reason most marketing advice fails therapists — it hands everyone the same map."

Three paths, one at a time

You don't need all of it. You need the one shape that fits your life.

Overwhelm is the reason most therapists quit marketing. So your assessment sends you down exactly one path — a sequence of small steps, in order, with the reasoning behind each one. Three shapes, and every one of them ends in a practice full of clients who can pay your fee:

Path 1

The Full Room

One goal: a calendar full of private-pay clients who can pay your fee. Nothing else to run.

This one's for you if

  • You want a full private-pay caseload and genuinely nothing else to manage
  • You'd rather be found than followed — search, referrals, and word of mouth
  • You have about an hour a week for marketing between sessions and a life
  • Posting about yourself online sounds like a cost, not a creative outlet

Path 2

The Practice, Plus

A full caseload, plus one or two streams beside it: supervision, a signature workshop, a paid newsletter.

This one's for you if

  • You want a full caseload first, then one or two ways to earn outside the therapy hour
  • Supervision or consultation hours, a signature workshop, or a paid Substack sound like you
  • You'd happily write or teach on a Tuesday, but you don't want to be an influencer
  • You have two to three protected hours a week to build something beside the caseload

Path 3

The Beacon

A handful of private-pay clients plus an audience: digital products, Instagram, courses, workshops, a membership.

This one's for you if

  • You want fewer clinical hours and a real audience alongside them
  • Being visible energizes you — camera, stories, writing in public
  • You're building toward digital products, courses, workshops, maybe a membership
  • You're in a build season and can give this real hours, not leftovers

And no matter which one you get

You still see everything.

Every therapist who joins gets the full library — all 18 marketing avenues, with the why, the plays, worked examples, and AI prompts. Your path tells you what to do first; the library unlocks with your purchase, there whenever you're curious or ready for more.

Included with the Playbook — unlocked after purchase.

How it works

Like working with me 1:1 — just broken into pieces you can finish.

Most courses hand you forty hours of video and wish you luck. This walks you down one lane, one small step at a time, and always tells you why you're doing it.

  1. 1

Start with the practice you want

Six unhurried questions about the life you're building and how you like to work. No marketing jargon, no wrong answers.

  2. 2

    Get your lane

A full private-pay practice, a practice plus one or two income streams, or a small caseload with a growing digital presence. One road, chosen for you.

  3. 3

    Follow the steps

Three phases, each broken into steps sized for a real week between sessions — with the reasoning behind every one.

  4. 4

Check things off as your practice fills

Your progress is saved. Come back whenever you have an hour, and pick up exactly where you left off.

Who's guiding you
Dr. Kelly Vincent, Psy.D., smiling in a cream sweater

I spent six years in advertising before I ever sat in the therapist's chair.

Traditional advertising and digital marketing, 6+ years of it — on work for companies like Showtime, Visa and eBay. Then came the quarter-life crisis at 25 and the decision to go back to school for my doctorate. By the time I was licensed I had something most new clinicians don't: a very clear vision, and a marketing background to build it with.

So I built the private-pay solo practice, then a six-figure group practice I ran for four years, then reshaped it into a collective for licensed therapists. I've spent the last seven years running a co-working space for therapists and holistic providers, and everything below came out of marketing I did myself.

Instagram followers, built without spending a dollar on ads.

Grown entirely through organic content strategy — SEO-backed posts, a comment-to-DM engagement funnel, and consistent value-first content in a niche (mental health) that doesn't lend itself to hype-driven growth.

7 years

Founder of Movement Therapy Spaces — a coworking space built specifically for therapists.

Created a professional home for clinicians long before “community-first” was a business buzzword — solving the isolation of private practice with shared space, referrals, and peer support.

4 years, 6 figures

Built and ran a 6-figure group therapy practice — then evolved it into something bigger.

Grew a multi-clinician practice to six figures in revenue, then transitioned the model from employee-based to The Collective — a membership community for licensed therapists that replaced payroll with peer referrals and shared infrastructure.

6-figure book deal

A traditionally published book, backed by a publisher's investment.

Not self-published, not a vanity project — a publishing house bet six figures on this message reaching a wide audience.
